Pre-Replacement Checklist
Frequency Band Setting Confirm internal DIP switches match the exact flame type (factory default for oil/gas 50 Hz is position 3-4-5).
Air Purge Flow Minimum 8–12 m³/h clean instrument air required to prevent soot deposition.
Sight Path Alignment Target the flame zone 1/3 from burner throat; avoid direct refractory view.
Installation & Commissioning Recommendations
- Use only LAMTEC swivel mount (6850 0300) for precise alignment
- Install isolation ball valve on purge air line for maintenance
- After replacement, perform LAMTEC “gain adjustment” procedure using live flame to set optimal discrimination
- Clean quartz window with ethanol only (no abrasive materials)
- Recommend quarterly visual inspection and annual full response test
