It uses HIMA’s proven 1oo2D architecture with two independent microprocessors per group of eight channels. Continuous cross-comparison and test-pulse diagnostics ensure that field wiring faults are detected without affecting the process signal.

In large H51q systems, hundreds of F3236 modules operate under the quad-redundant central unit, providing the highest availability and diagnostic coverage available before the introduction of HIMatrix and HIQuad X.
