Compared to the older T-03/V-03 modules, it offers approximately 4× processing headroom, enabling simultaneous high-speed GOOSE messaging, complex FlexLogic equations, and full IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol synchronisation without performance degradation.
It is the only CPU revision that natively supports the newest cyber-security suite (NERC CIP compliance) and is required for firmware 8.00 and above. In the UR architecture it occupies the central processing slot and directly interfaces with all CT/VT modules, I/O cards, and communication switches.
