    DEIF MTR-4-315 (1200510023) is a programmable multi-transducer designed to measure and calculate key AC power network metrics and provide three analog outputs plus Modbus communication for PLC/DCS integration. It handles single-phase and three-phase networks used in industrial power monitoring and marine switchboards.

    The MTR-4-315 outputs can be individually configured from more than 50 parameters (voltage, current, power factor, frequency, THD, etc.) with a fast <50 ms response time and universal supply range, which simplifies multi-parameter monitoring across sites with varying supply types.

    Phase 1 — Pre-Installation (est. 10 min):
    De-energize panel. Wait 5 min for capacitive discharge. Tools: insulated screwdriver, torque driver, USB config cable, label tags, multimeter. Back up system config, photograph current wiring and tag inputs/outputs.

    Phase 2 — Removal (est. 5 min):
    Label all wires before removal. Release DIN rail latch. Pull module straight off rail. Inspect wiring and terminal integrity.

    Phase 3 — Installation (est. 10 min):
    ESD strap recommended for ESD-sensitive pins. Seat MTR-4-315 on DIN rail. Torque terminals ~0.5 N·m. Reconnect CT/VT inputs and analog outputs per documented labeling. Connect RS485 Modbus if used and ensure termination resistors at trunk ends.

    Phase 4 — Power-On & Testing (est. 15 min):
    Apply supply (19–300 V DC / 40–276 V AC). Verify power LED. Using DEIF config software via USB, program output scaling (three channels) and Modbus registers. Validate analog outputs with multimeter across range. Poll Modbus registers to confirm values. Log stable operation >30 min.

    Troubleshooting quick-reference:
    • No analog output → check CT/VT scaling and config settings.
    • RS485 comms fail → check baud, parity, termination.
    • Erratic readings → inspect input wiring, grounding and noise sources.
