Technical Architecture & Functional Positioning
The HCS01.1E-W0028-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW belongs to the ultra-compact IndraDrive Cs family – the smallest and most cost-effective converter series that still retains full closed-loop servo performance. At only 70 mm width it achieves the same current loop bandwidth (>2 kHz at 16 kHz switching) as larger HCS02/HCS03 models, making it ideal for distributed multi-axis architectures where cabinet space and cost are critical.
The “B-ET” designation indicates a powerful Multi-Ethernet master interface capable of acting as EtherCAT master for downstream I/O or third-party drives while simultaneously running Sercos III or PROFINET to the PLC – eliminating the need for separate gateways. The “EC” encoder interface supports virtually all common motor feedback systems without additional option cards.
