Undervoltage, overvoltage or frequency excursions can trip critical loads or damage equipment if not cleared quickly. The GE MIVII3000E00HI00 is the MIV II 3000 digital voltage and frequency protection relay from the Multilin M II family. It combines four independent phase under/overvoltage elements, two ground overvoltage elements, voltage unbalance detection and two frequency elements in a single drawout case.
Designed for motors, generators, automatic transfer schemes, lines and busbars at any voltage level, the relay offers configurable logic, dual settings groups, front RS232 and rear RS485 Modbus RTU communication, and field-upgradable flash memory. Installation & Configuration Guide
Phase 1 — Pre-Installation (est. 10–15 min)
De-energize the panel and follow lock-out/tag-out. Tools: insulated screwdriver, multimeter, laptop with EnerVista or equivalent software, ESD protection. Record existing settings, CT/VT ratios and wiring. Photograph the rear terminal blocks, drawout mechanism and front-panel LEDs.
Phase 2 — Removal (est. 5–10 min)
Open the drawout handle, disconnect the rear terminal blocks or plug-in connectors, and withdraw the relay. Cap open CT/VT circuits if required and inspect the chassis for contamination or bent pins.
Phase 3 — Installation (est. 10 min)
Confirm the part number is MIVII3000E00HI00 and the HI power-supply range matches the available auxiliary voltage. Insert the relay into the drawout case, reconnect all terminals exactly as photographed, and lock the drawout mechanism.
Phase 4 — Power-On & Testing (est. 15–25 min)
