The Rexroth PPC-R01.2N-N-V2-FW is a powerful motion logic controller designed to manage complex automation sequences within the Indramat/Rexroth ecosystem. Primarily utilized in high-speed packaging, printing, and CNC applications, this unit serves as the intelligence layer, coordinating multiple drives via the SERCOS fiber optic bus to ensure sub-millisecond synchronization.
Equipped with V2 firmware capabilities, this controller supports advanced motion profiles and integrated PLC logic. The Rexroth PPC-R01.2N-N-V2-FW is engineered for reliability in demanding environments, offering a modular hardware architecture that allows for easy integration into existing IndraDrive or DIAX04 systems while maintaining strict adherence to industrial communication standards.
Quality Control & Testing SOP
- Inbound Inspection: Every controller is checked for the specific hardware revision and firmware sticker. We verify serial number authenticity and inspect the fiber optic ports for dust contamination or physical scratches.
- Live Functional Testing: The unit is mounted on a SERCOS III/Fiber test bench. We perform a full cold-boot sequence to verify the internal OS loading and establish a communication handshake with a Rexroth drive.
- Communication Stress Test: We run a diagnostic script via the Ethernet port and verify the SERCOS cycle timing to ensure no jitter or packet loss occurs under load.
- Memory Verification: The internal RAM and Flash memory are scanned for bad sectors. We ensure the non-volatile memory correctly retains data after a 24-hour power cycle.
- Final QC & Packaging: The module is placed in a vacuum-sealed anti-static bag with desiccant and secured in a custom-fit double-wall box to prevent shipping vibration damage.
